In 2002, the Vermont Homeownership Initiative joined the national NeighborWorks Campaign for Homeownership. The Initiative is a statewide, collaborative three-year campaign to raise $1 million to increase the rate of homeownership among working families. The following Founding Partners have made this campaign possible:

Vermont Community Foundation

Vermont Housing Finance Agency
Since 1974, VHFA has provided financing to more than 23,000 Vermonters and financed the construction or rehabilitation of more than 4,900 affordable rental units.

Provides direct assistance to community development corporations (CDCs) across the country.
